September 5, 1936 – March 24, 2012. Passed peacefully away in the presence of his family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday March 24, 2012, Gerald Jackson of Cavendish, aged 75 years. Predeceased by his parents George and Effie Jackson. Leaving to mourn and celebrate his life with thanksgiving are: his wife , Lucy ( nee Chislett), son Allan (Lorie), grandchildren Robie and Richard;brothers, Norm (Nellie), Ken (Karen); sisters, Yvonne (Ches) Jackson, Alberta (Albert) Critch, Hilda (Tom) Rowe. He is also lovingly remembered by a large number of nephews, nieces other relatives and many friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation for family and friends will be held from the Cavendish Community Centre on Tuesday, March 27th 2:00 – 9:00 pm. A service of celebration and thanksgiving of his life will be held from the Cavendish Community Centre on Wednesday, March 28th at 2:00 pm. Inurnment at a later date.
