Arthur McMillan
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, of Arthur McMillan, of Summerside, aged 87 years. Veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Born in Jacquet River, N.B., he was the son of the late James “J.G.” and Anna Belle (Hamilton) McMillan. Survived by his wife Ruth (Poole) McMillan; daughter Cathy (Wendall) Bernard, Lennox Island; grandchildren Jeremy Bernard, Summerside; Joe Bernard (Megan Landsborough), Dauphin, MB; Patrick Bernard (Kayla Sark), Lennox Island; Codi-Anne Bernard, Lennox Island; great-grandchildren Malik Bernard, Saint-Ignace, N.B.; Riley and Keira Bernard, Lennox Island; and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Dorothy Ellis.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private family service will be held. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Summerside. No visiting hours by personal request.
Memorial donations to the Summerside Boys and Girls Club or to Trinity United Church, Summerside, would be appreciated.
