It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Linda K. Ewalt at the age of 67 years in Merritt, B.C. Linda is survived by her loving sons Kevin and Randy Clarke, both of Merritt, B.C. One granddaughter, Gemini Clarke, brothers John, Garry, Larry and William Bernesky and sisters Helen Melvin, Ida Vankonughnett, Dona Sommer, Fay White and Hilda Bernesky.

Predeceased by her husband, Stanley Bruce Clarke, son Robin Dean Clarke, brothers Jim Bernesky, Harold Bernesky, sisters Elsie Romaniuk, Pauline Grey and Minnie Eberson.

Linda was born and raised on the family farm in Connell Creek, Saskatchewan, she married Stan Clarke and they had three sons. They moved to British Columbia in the early 1970’s, after Stan’s death Linda and her sons came to Merritt, B.C. Linda lived and worked in Merritt for the remainder of her life. She is remembered as a joyful person who had a keen sense of humour and a strong work ethic. She enjoyed gardening and had the ability to produce abundant vegetable and flower gardens. She cherished her granddaughter and her cat. She had a vibrant spirit and battled hard right to the end. Linda touched the lives of many people and will be sadly missed.

An informal celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 14th, 2012, 2644 Coutlee Ave at 2 pm.
