Beloved daughter of the late Neil Angus and Christie MacDonald passed away peacefully 12 days prior to her 87th birthday on Jan. 2, 2012, with her family by her side at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ont., where she received excellent care and support.
Florence ‘Nana’ will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Neil and sister, Jessie.
Florence was predeceased by her sisters, Christine, Isabel and Nellie and brothers, John R. and John Lewis ‘Lou’. Nana is sadly missed by several nieces, nephews, their children and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Whycocomagh, N.S., a place close to her heart, as this is the church her father helped build. Immediately following the service, the Interment will be held at East Lake Ainslie Cemetery followed by a reception back at the church.
In the memory of Florence and if desired, donations may be made to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Whycocomagh or East Lake Ainslie Cemetery, where she will rest with her mother and father.
