VAUTOUR, HILDA - (1933 - 2012) - ST. LOUIS DE KENT, NB - Hilda Vautour, 78, of St. Louis de Kent passed away peacefully at the Stella-Maris-de-Kent Hospital, Ste. Anne de Kent on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Born in Kent Junction, she was the daughter of the late Carrie Stewart-Wilson and her late adoptive parents; John Stewart and Catherine (Butler) Stewart. She attended St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church. Hilda will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 62 years, Alphée Vautour, three daughters; Valma Hébert (Alonzo) of St. Louis, May Stewart (Ronald) of Aldouane, Rhonda Stewart (Danny) of St. Louis, five sons; Anthony Vautour (Maria) of St. Louis, Arnold Vautour (Christiane) of St. Louis, Gary Vautour (Elizabeth) of Aldouane, Nelson Vautour (Corinne Bourque) of Moncton, Camille Vautour (Jody) of Main River, fifteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one more great grandchild on the way. Hilda is also survived by five sisters; Jessie, Phyllis, Lorna, Jean, Ferne and four brothers; Gordon, Angus, James and Tony. She was predeceased by her daughter Pauline, her sister Bernice and two brothers; Herbert and Horace. Hilda was the last surviving member of her adoptive family.
Resting at Thompson Memorial Home, St. Louis de Kent with visitation on Monday from 7 to 9 pm, Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm, Wednesday at 2:00 pm until departure for the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012 at 4:00 pm, St. Louis des Français Roman Catholic Church, St. Louis de Kent. Interment will be in the Claire-Fontaine Cemetery.
