CHANDLER, STEPHEN - 1932 - 2012 - Moncton - Stephen Chandler, 79, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday, April 27th, 2012, after a brief illness. Born in Montreal, QC, on December 26, 1932 he was the son of the late Clifford and Elsie (Biffin) Chandler. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Rita Chandler; his son, Kevin (Karen) of Moncton; his two daughters, Denise Chandler (Ron) and Shelley Clair (Gregg) both of Moncton; his brother, Charles (Elaine) of Charlottetown, PEI; his two grandchildren, Hannah and Chandler; his aunt, Miriam Rupe of California, USA.; also several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Alan.
In respect to Stephen’s wishes, there will be no visitations. Funeral service will be held at the St. Bernard’s RC Church in Moncton on Wednesday, May 2nd at 3 pm. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
