Ava Wylie
WYLIE, AVA L. - Ava L. Wylie, 53, of Moncton, passed away in Harcourt on Saturday, April 28, 2012. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late George and Hazel (Thorne) Morris. Ava was employed with METS and enjoyed playing horseshoes, cross country skiing, working in her flower garden, listening to music and socializing with her family and friends at the family camp in Mortimer. First and foremost was spending precious time with her granddaughter, “doll baby”, Adeline June. Her spirit will live on through her children, Devon and Christina, her son-in-law, Julien Gallant and her precious “doll baby”, granddaughter, Adeline June. Ava will also be sadly missed by her sisters, Dianne Cudmore (Vaughn), Ann Agnew (Charles), Nancy Morris and Sandra Tingley (Arnold), all of Harcourt, Sylvia Warren (Everett) of Memramcook and Sue LeBlanc (Don) of Moncton; brothers, Phillip Morris (Sharon) and Danny Morris (Karen), both of Harcourt, Carman Morris (Nancy) of Huntsville, ON, Tim Morris (Cheryl) of Fords Mills; Chuck and the Wylie family; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Service for Ava will be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Cecil Symes officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment, Harcourt Cemetery. The family would like to suggest that people wear a white ribbon in support of the movement to stop violence against women.
