February 27, 1923 – May 1, 2012. Passed peacefully away at the Lion’s Manor Nursing Home, Placentia on Tuesday, May 1, 2012, surrounded by her family, Ruby Pitcher of Hopeall, formerly of Gambo, aged 89 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband, William (Bill) 1999, sister Wynn and brother George. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life with thanksgiving are three children; two sons and one daughter: Terry (Peggy), Louise (Woodrow) Mullett, Len (Tina); seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is also lovingly remembered by three brothers: Scott (Frances), Roy, Bruce (Elizabeth); two sisters: Mary Carty, Maxine Chaffey and sister-in-law Martha Saunders; as well as a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo with visitation on Wednesday, May 2nd 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., Thursday May 3, 2:00- 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 10:00 a.m. – 12;00 noon. The funeral service will be held from First United Church, Hopeall on Friday, May 4th at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery.
