HAMILTON, HELEN FLORENCE - At Marian Villa Nursing Home, London, on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 Helen Hamilton of London in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late Matthew (Scotty) Adams (1974) and George W. Hamilton (1997). Loving sister of Mildred Steeves (Wesley) of Moncton, NB. Also missed by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family. Predeceased by her parents, J. Leonard and Bertha Heans, her brother Kenneth Heans and sister Elizabeth (Betty) MacFarlane. For the past 5 years Helen lived at Eden Place Retirement Home, Belleville, Ontario.
A fall this January necessitated a move to London to be near her niece and nephew. Friends will be received by the family on Saturday, May 5, 2012 from 12:00 (Noon) until 1:00 pm, (1 hour prior) where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, Ontario at 1:00 pm with Reverend Terry Mowat officiating. Cremation and Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto at a later date.
