HENDERSON, PHOEBE - It is with great sadness that the family of Phoebe Henderson announce her death at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Saturday, May 5th, 2012 at the age of 98. Born in Ireland on January 9th, 1914 she was the wife of the late John Henderson. Phoebe leaves behind her children, Jean (Loggie) Dunnett of Oromocto, Gordon (Liz) Henderson of Peterborough, ON, Janet Henderson of Oromocto, Margaret (Tim) Shears of St. John's, NL, Sheila Henderson of Mill Cove and Andrew (Sylvia) Henderson of Charlottetown, PE; sister in law, Gladys Connor. Phoebe was predeceased by her husband, John Henderson; parents, Charles Connor and Maud (Weir) Connor; son, William Henderson; brothers, Charles, James and Robert Connor; and sisters, Doris Chambers and Aileen Hawkins.
The funeral service will be held at Oromocto Funeral Home, 108 Winnebago St., on Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at 2 pm with Rev. Robert McDowell officiating. Interment will be in the Burton Cemetery.
