56, of Canning, Kings County, Nova Scotia, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at home. Born in Corner Brook, NL, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Ruby (Osmond) Gillard. She had been employed with Early Childhood Education. She is survived by her husband, Clarence “Spencer” Osmond; many family and friends. She was predeceased by a grandson, Devon Baldwin. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2012 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Nova Scotia. Cremation will take place and there will be no funeral service, by family request. Burial will take place at a later date in Newfoundland. Donations in memory may be made to Marg’s Glad Garden (The Margaret Salsman Cancer Care Patient Navigator Memorial Fund).
