LANDRY, ADELARD - Adelard Landry, 86, of Moncton, passed away on Friday May 4, 2012 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre. Born March 12, 1926 in Ste-Marie-de-Kent, he was the son of the late David and Adèle (Belliveau) Landry. Before his retirement, Adelard worked at Swift Canadian and Hub Meat Packers. He is survived by his wife, Diana (Richard); two daughters: Aline Landry and Gloria Landry, both of Moncton; a sister, Rita Cooke (Robert) of Ottawa; several nieces and nephews as well as a walking companion, Buffy. He was predeceased by two sisters: Marie and Emilie as well as three brothers: Lionel, Henri and Aimé.
The family will receive condolences at Frenette Funeral Home, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Louis-de-France R.C.
