MOULAISON, Harold Joseph “Kelly” – It is with deep regret and sadness that the family announce the death of Harold Joseph “Kelly” Moulaison of Hubbard’s Point, Yarmouth County. Kelly passed away peacefully with his family at his side at the age of 83 years on Monday, May 7, 2012 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born June 26, 1928 in Surette’s Island, he was a son of the late René and Flora (Muise) Moulaison. He worked at Cosmos Imperial Mills/Dominion Textiles for 18 years, after which he worked with Alwood Products for 11 years before taking his retirement. Kelly was a family man, and he was loved and cherished and will be sorely missed by his wife, his children and his grandchildren. He loved to spend time with each and every one of them, especially his little great grandchildren. He loved to tinker with his hands and enjoyed the outdoors. In his younger years he also enjoyed bowling. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Josephine M. (Muise) Moulaison, as well as by his children, Chris Moulaison (Doreen), Arcadia; Debbie (Larry) LeBlanc, Plymouth; Sandra (Walter) Pennell, Brenton; his grandchildren, Devon, Kristy (Gary), Sarah (Phillip), Jeremy, Isaac and Luke; great grandchildren, Riley, Jack, Parker, Claire and a baby-to-be. Also surviving is a brother, Wilfred “Peep” Moulaison, Yarmouth, and sisters, Flo (Don) Faulkner, Delta, BC; Geneva (Charles) Morsehead, Halifax; Julie Willis, Ontario. Aside from his parents, he was predeceased by sisters, Lillian Bourque and Marie Robichaud, as well as by brothers, Clarence Moulaison and Larry Moulaison. In accordance with Kelly’s wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd., Yarmouth and there will be no formal visitation by request. The family received visitors for one hour prior to the memorial service which was held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 9 at Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Yarmouth, Pastor Larry Pennell officiating. Interment followed at the Tusket Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kelly can be made to a New Life Church (Mike Bourque Memorial Fund).
