It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter (Owen) Holmes announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville on Monday, May 7, 2012 at the age of 52 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Cynthia and 1daughter, Melissa of Stephenville, 2 brothers: Tony Holmes of Fort McMurray, Ross (Lisa) Holmes of Barrie, Ontario, 5 sisters: Ada (Frank) Keats of Gander, Glenda Holmes of Gander, Diane (Mario) Ross of Rockland, Sheila Holmes of Mount Pearl, Roxanne Holmes of Mount Pearl and a large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Ray and Edna Holmes. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Friday, May 11th from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, May 12th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Sunday, May 13th at 2:00 p.m. at the Salvation Army Church, Hansen Highway, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
