Passed peacefully away on April 28, 2012, at the age of 82 years Mrs. Vera Marion Richard of St. Anthony, NL. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son Curtis (Lisa); daughters Hattie (Ronald), Donna (Lester), Eileen (Robert), Timmia (Fraser) and Verla (Morgan) of St. Anthony; 12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a large circle of relatives and friends. Vera is predeceased by her loving husband David of 57 years, brothers Wilfred, Victor, Eric and Pearce and sisters Eunice and Doris. Visitation took place at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home in St. Anthony followed by the funeral service which was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, at United Church in St. Anthony with Rev. Stephanie McClellan officiating. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Siobhan Mauger, funeral director.
