HARRIS, GILFORD RONALD - Gilford R. Harris of Harvey Station, NB passed away Sunday morning, May 13, 2012 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Gilford was born at Rooth, NB in 1923, a son of the late Chester and Myrtle (Dewitt) Harris. He is survived by his siblings, Marie Pollock, Arthur Harris, Erwin Harris, Wallace Harris, Travis Harris (Betty), Alden Harris (Mary), all of Harvey, NB, Keith Harris (Helen), Tracy, NB, Hilda Ball, Fredericton, NB, Howard Harris (Marion), Saint John, NB, Edith Ball, Fredericton Junction, NB and Donald Harris (Renna), Cork, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Gilford was predeceased by sisters, Delia Bishop and Eloise Thomas and brothers, Foster, Gordon and Elmer Harris.
Visiting hours will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 1826 Highway 3, Harvey Station, NB on Monday evening, May 14, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church on Tuesday morning, May 15, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment will be in Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
