Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at Glenbrook Lodge in St. John’s, NL on May 12, 2012, Sarah Driscoll, formerly of New Melbourne, Trinity Bay, aged 91 years. Predeceased by her husband Hector; brothers: Jack Reid and Leslie Reid; sisters: Ruby Reid and Nellie Summers; parents: Simeon and Roanna Reid; and granddaughter Brenda Driscoll. Leaving to mourn daughters: Daisy (Ed) White, and Patricia O’Keefe; sons: Calvin (Barbara), Leslie (Sharon), Simeon (Judy), all of St. John’s, and Gary (Mary) of Marystown; 12 grandchildren: Sean, Susan, Barbara, Patricia, Sherry, Jason, Bobby, Jeffrey, Jennifer, David, and Adam; great-grandchildren: Tiffany, Sarah, Kendra, Emilie, Gracie, Morgan, Quinten, Makenzie, Patrick, Nathan, Meighan, Kelsey, Kathleen, Lucas, and Aurora; sisters: Rosalyn, Shirley, Marina; brothers: Walter, Allan, and Lloyd; and their families; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Sunday, May 13 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., and on Monday, May 14 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11:00 a.m., with interment to follow at 3:00 p.m. in St. Stephen’s United Church Cemetery, New Melbourne, Trinity Bay.
