The death occurred peacefully at Perrin's Clinton View Lodge on Sunday, May 27, 2012, of Helen Gallant, formerly of Rusticoville, age 80.
Helen was the daughter of the late Henry D. and Julia (Buote) Gallant; the beloved sister of Francis (Barb), Hamilton, Ontario; Margaret Trotter (Gord), Brampton, Ontario; Priscilla Gill (Jim), Belleville, Ontario; Betty MacEachern (Dan), Charlottetown; and Yvonne and Benny who lovingly cared for Helen throughout her lifetime. Helen is also survived by sister-in-law, Yvonne Duffy; 12 nieces and nephews; special nephew, Francis Somers (Marlene); and special grandnieces, Melissa and Julia. She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Julia Gallant; and brothers, Harold and Stanley Gallant.
There will be no visitation by personal request. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Cemetery.
