Passed peacefully away at the North Haven Manor in Lewisporte on Saturday, May 26, 2012, Mr. Samuel McDonald, age 85 years of Milltown. Leaving to mourn his loving family: adopted daughter, Effie Jane Fudge at Milltown, with whom he resided; grandsons, Donald and wife, Nancy, at Milltown and Albert at Halifax, NS; great grand daughters, Chelsea and Chloe plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Marjorie; parents, Henry and Edith McDonald; sisters, Gladys, Sarah and Helen; brothers, John and Ronald and son in law, Edward Fudge. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 2:00 pm from Christ Anglican Church in Milltown with Rev. Roy Simms officiating.
