MABLE NORMA LINGREN
Date de naissance : 31 mai 1942
Lieu de décès : Kamloops, Colombie Britannique, Canada
Date de décès : 31 mai 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mable Norma Lingren on May 31, 2012. She is survived and missed by her loving husband Charlie, children Nadine (Mark) Woitt of Airdrie AB, Tammy (Paul) Desrochers of Pritchard, BC, grandchildren Krista (Jason) Voth, Trent (Jaclyn) Aspeslet, Tyrell Desrochers, Kelden, and Kale Woitt, great grandchildren Nyome, Payton and Colby Voth, sisters June Roland, Dianne Block as well as countless other family and friends that loved her dearly. Norma is predeceased by her mother and father, Pete and Mable Arnell, her brothers Bill and Jimmy and sister Lois.
On Norma’s 70th birthday, with her loving family by her side, she left us peacefully to be with our Lord. Norma had a special ability to make every person in her life feel as if they were the most important person in the world. Norma started her working career at the Hudson Bay, from there she went to the North Shore Safeway where she spend the last 30 years of her working career. After retiring in 1998, Norma and Charlie began enjoying their retirement years, a great trip to Alaska and travelling to Arizona for the winters and many wonderful camping and fishing trips with family and friends. Even with limited mobility, the one sure thing that would put a smile on her face and make her forget about all her struggles was spending time with her babies (grandchildren). She loved them with a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck!
Friends wishing to pay their respects by viewing are invited to do so from 10:00 to 11:00 before the service.
The service will take place at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 7th, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 2165 Parkcrest Ave, Kamloops, BC with Bishop Vaughn Willson officiating.
A very special thank you to Dr. Birdie and the nursing staff on 3 west.
In lieu of flowers we would like people to make donations to the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation at 311 Columbia Street, Kamloops BC, V2C 2T1 as a thank you for the many years of special care they gave to Norma.
