It is with great sadness that the family of the late CAROLINE FREEBORN of Harbour Mille announces her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Thursday May 31, 2012 at the age of 94. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories Sons Robert (Irene) of Harbour Mille, Ward (Nina) of St. John’s, Claude (Charlotte) of Dexter, Maine, Alvin (Darlene) of Dartmouth, NS, Leo (Gerri) of St. John’s, Wayne (Faye) of Lab City; Daughters Shirley (Eli) Skinner of Francois, Irene (Bill) Tucker of St. John’s and Norma (Dave) Power of St. Bernard’s with whom she resided; 18 Grandchildren; 25 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Plus a large circle of relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by Husband Harold; Parents Richard & Lydia Burnes; Sisters Elsie Anderson, Edith Rideout and Annie Mae Evans; Brothers Maurice and James Barnes

Funeral Service took place on Monday June 4, 2012 at 2:00pm from St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Harbour Mille. Interment followed at the St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery in Harbour Mille. As expressions of sympathy donations in Caroline’s memory may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
