It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Glen Morgan, 47, of Sydney Mines, on June 4, 2012.
Born in Sydney Mines on April 19, 1965, he was the son of Clarence Morgan and the late Theresa (Hennessey) Morgan.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception parish, Sydney Mines.
In his spare time, he enjoyed fixing electronics for family and friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Glen is survived by his father, Clarence; sisters, Sarah (Neil) Roach, Helen (Gerald) Cooke, both of Sydney Mines, Elizabeth (Donnie) Donovan, Prince Edward Island; and his brother, Clarence (Debbie) Morgan, Sydney Mines. He also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
He was predeceased by his mom, Theresa Hennessey, grandparents, Pius and Sadie Hennessey, Carroll and Helen Morgan and several aunts and uncles.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of J.M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines.
Visitation will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. followed by a memorial mass celebrating his life at 11 a.m., both in J.M. Jobes Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Greg Murphy officiating.
