It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a dear loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister; Lucy Elizabeth Pickett age 79 years at Brookfield Hospital, Brookfield on June 6, 2012. Predeceased by her parents; Murdock and Maria Rogers, sisters; 3 Hazel Miller, Trixie and Winnifred, 1 brother-in-law; Harold Miller. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband; Roland Straff Pickett, 1 son; Ivan (Bernadette) of Pouch Cove, 3 daughters; Rosalind Hunt (Gord) of Wareham, Ann Glover (Clayton) of Trinity, Joan Rogers (Craig) of Hamilton, Ont, 4 sisters; Anastatia Feltham (John) of Trinity, Trixie Brown (Job) of Centreville, Grace Hynes (Lester) of Trinity, Lillian Hancock (Tom) of Sandy Point, 10 grandchildren; Amy Cutler, Debbie Keats, Curtis Glover, Christina Pickett, JANETTA Rogers, Andrew Pickett, Gregory Hunt, Patrick Hunt, Jolissa Rogers, John Rogers, 7 great-grandchildren; Lucas Keats, Dawson Cutler, Paris Keats, Logan Cutler, Jasmine Easton, Ian Cutler, Skyler Glover and a large circle of other relatives and many friends. Funeral service was held on June 9, 2012 at The St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Centreville with Rev. David Coffin officiating. Interment followed at The Anglican Church cemetery, Centreville.
