BRADFORD: Ralph Earl Bradford passed away peacefully on June 4, 2012 with his family by his side. A celebration of his life was shared at a Graveside Service at the Lancer Community Memorial Cemetery on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with Arden Andreas leading in prayer and remembrance. A luncheon at the Lancer Community Hall followed the service. The eulogy and power point was presented by grandson Regan Bradford. Ralph's urn was carried by grandson Scott Smith. Ralph leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 56 years Emma, his daughter and son-in-law Colleen (Glen) Reynolds, his son and daughter-in-law Kelly (Denise) Bradford, his grandson Scott (Lorraine) Smith,Regan Bradford and Jackson Bradford, great grandchildren Logan, Shayla and Emma. Also his brother Stan (Mary) Bradford and sister-in-law Laura Bradford and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Les and Maggie Bradford, his in-laws Gus and Frieda Ohm, his brother Doug Bradford, his nephew Rick Bradford and son-in-law Kenny Smith. Ralph was born on February 9, 1929 on the Hedberg Farm to Les and Maggie Bradford. He was the eldest of three boys, He had two brothers Stan and Doug. Ralph married his love Emma on July 4, 1955 in Lancer and had two children Colleen and Kelly. They had three grandsons Scott, Regan and Jackson. Ralph was an avid curler, ball player and a pilot, holding a private pilot license for many years. He was also a farmer for of his life and continued to be a farmer, bringing in another harvest in the fall of 2011. His grandsons enjoyed teaching him how to run the newer combines and taking him up for one more ride in the plane. Ralph was a proud man, with a very clear memory for local history and events. He was very proud of his hometown and it's people. Ralph never missed a coffee row and if he did, somebody would say, "Where is Ralph today." Rest well Ralph and be assured of our love and pride in all you have taught us. You are Soaring among the clouds and keeping watch over us."
