Roland Joseph Regnier
Born: July 8, 1954 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
Deceased: June 8, 2012 at home (Saskatoon)

Rolly is lovingly remembered by his wife Doreen of 18 years, mother Cloey, son Nathan (Katherine) and grandchild Alexis. He is also remembered by his 7 siblings; Denis (Nicole) Regnier, Diane Regnier, Carol (Paul) LeBlanc, Andre (Angele) Regnier, Alain Regnier, Susan (Jamie) LaVallee, Evelyne (Dwight) Bohmann and numerous nieces and nephews and two foster children. He was predeceased by his father Donald Regnier, grandparents Exilda Therrien (Henry Regnier) and grandparents Adolph (Helen) Lemieux. He was deeply appreciated and respected by all his extended family.

Rolly always lived his life to the fullest. His positive energy, enthusiasm and passion showed through his dedication to his family, Christian community, colleagues and friends.

Rolly was dedicated to a healthy and active lifestyle. He participated regularly in marathons and triathlons. In 1988, he carried the torch during the Winter Olympics. Rolly’s love of the Roughriders and the Montréal Canadians was a large part of who he was. Rolly took great pleasure in planning adventures with his wife, son, family and work clients. This included skiing, canoeing and camping. He loved running and riding his bike on the river pathways.

His commitment to his Catholic faith was evident as he reached out to others in prayer frequently, volunteered in church ministries, and served enthusiastically in the Live-In retreats for 23 yrs.; Rolly lived his faith, and invited many to turn to their spirituality.

Rolly embraced life and warmed the hearts of those around him.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation in his name to the Calder Center Youth Outward Bound Program. Also, Masses may be offered for Rolly.

Prayers: Friday, June 15 at 7 pm
Funeral: Saturday, June 16 at 10 am

Rolly respectfully requests no black attire at this joyful occasion.
