Kenneth Ross Mullin

Mullin, Kenneth Ross – 91, Truro, passed away June 11, 2012 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Gaspe, Quebec, he was a son of the late Ralph and Stella (Miller) Mullin. An unassuming, quiet man has left a big void in the lives of his family and friends today. Ken served his country as a young man during the Second World War in the army in Europe and when that task was over he began his lifelong journey of serving his family. He worked as a mining chief sampler in Quebec at Gaspe Copper Mines for over 30 years. He will be deeply missed and always remembered. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marguerite (Eden); daughters, Brenda (Clarence) Dennis, Truro, Valerie (Wayne) Ste-Croix, Gaspe, Quebec; sons, Walter (Suzanne), Holmesville, N.B., Todd (Bonnie), Tatamagouche; daughter-in-law, Charlynn Mullin, Tatamagouche; sisters, Dorothy Baker, Montreal, Quebec, Mina Patterson, Kitchener, ON.; brothers, Harris (Greta), Gaspe, Quebec, Selwyn (Elsie), Hamilton, ON, Ivers (Glenda), Kitchener, ON.; ten grandchildren; several foster grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by son, Charles; sister, Sadie Patterson and one sister in infancy; brothers, Scott, Kingsley; granddaughter, Tracie Dennis. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15 from 7-9 pm; funeral service on Saturday, June 16th at 3 pm beginning with a Royal Canadian Legion Tribute Service, all in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro, with Rev. Gary Yetman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to C.N.I.B. or a charity of choice.
