ALAN JOHN DARBYSON Alan John Darbyson passed away March 17, 2008, at the age of 76, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Al was born in Montreal, Quebec and has been a resident of Blind Bay since 1977. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Janice, sons Geoff of Kamloops, BC; Warren (Rhonda) of Blind Bay, BC and Todd (Lisa) of Caroline, AB. He was especially loved by his grandchildren, Wayne, Darnell, Marissa, Paige, Alivia, Amanda, Dakota, Kirby & Shania - who he always had time to play with. He is also survived by his brother, Phil Darbyson of Merville, BC. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Shuswap Lake General Hospital and the Salmon Arm Medical Clinic for their kind words and comforting presence. A non-religious Celebration of Life will be held at the Sorrento Memorial Hall on Paschendale Road in Sorrento, BC on March 22, 2008 at 1:00 P.M.
