On the morning of May 29, 2012 Peter went happily to meet his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
Our family would like to thank all who were so kind to us at this time, particularly those friends and family members who visited Peter at home and in the hospital and those of you who sent sympathy and mass cards, flowers and food donations to the Palliative Care Unit. A special thank you to Jack and Brendon Yazer for the tree planted in the Holy Land in Peter's memory. Thank you to Father Doug Murphy and the Holy Rosary Church Choir for the very moving service and music. We very much appreciated the Honor Guard provided by the Westmount Fire Department and the Westside Legion, hearing the Last Post playing at the conclusion of the service; it was a very moving experience and one we won't soon forget. Thank's to Chant's Funeral Home for the thoughtfulness during this very difficult time for us. To Peter's brother Leo and his wife Jessie a big thank you for their help, love and support every day; I am very grateful.
