LEGASSICK, LAUREEN DAWN “LORI” - Lori Legassick, 52, of Fort McMurray, AB, wife of Peter Legassick, passed away June 15, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. She was born in Sackville, NB, daughter of Lorna (Bellamy) Etter and the late Donald Etter. Lori was an Administrative Assistant with Syncrude. She loved listening to music. She is survived by her husband, Peter; mother, Lorna; one son, Richard Legassick; four sisters, Marilyn Downs (Bill), Port Elgin, NB, Linda Fury, Sackville, NB, Virginia Tingley (Austin), Point-de-Bute, NB, Rosie Landry (Edgar), Point-de-Bute, NB; one brother, Stephen Etter (Debi), Sackville, NB; two sisters-in-law, Judy, Hampton, Susan, Mississauga; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Keith Fury and Desi Legassick.
The family will receive friends at Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, on Monday from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm. The funeral will be held 1:00pm, Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Hampton. Interment in the adjoining cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
