LeBLANC, Doris A. – 51, Melbourne, Yarmouth Co., passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at home. Born August 4, 1960 in Yarmouth, she was a daughter of Joseph LeBlanc, Yarmouth, and the late Yvonne (Surette) LeBlanc. Doris was currently working at Vaughne Assurance in Yarmouth as a receptionist. She enjoyed family gatherings and outings with her co-workers. Aside from her father, Joseph, she is survived by her loving common-law husband of 21 years, Roland Muise, as well as by her children, Megan LeBlanc and Kyle LeBlanc, both at home. Also surviving are siblings, Alphonse (Rose), Sylvia (Wolfgang), Norman (Barb), Elaine (Ray), Arthur (Kathy), Paul, Rose (Patrick), Florence (Brian), Tina (William) and Edna (Chad). She was predeceased by her mother, Yvonne. Visitation took place from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, with prayers at 8:00, both at H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth. The funeral mass was held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 22 from Holy Family Catholic Church, Amirault’s Hill, Father Maurice LeBlanc, CJM, officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. It was requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made to the Chron’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada.
