It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mona Marie Blanchard announce her passing on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 78 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: husband Rodney; daughters: Dale (Wallace) Park, McIvers and Judith (Marvin) Wells, Cox’s Cove; sons: Rick (Daphne) Blanchard, McIvers, Ken (Debbie) Blanchard, Cox’s Cove, Carl (Angela) Blanchard, Brampton ON and Michael (Tina) Blanchard, McIvers; son in law Wade Pack, Hermitage; brothers: John Organ, Norris Point and Bill (Eva) Organ, AB; sisters: Minette (Victor) White, ON, Pearl Davidson, ON, Francis (Howard) Thomas, NS and Audrey Samson, Gander; grandchildren: Paulette (Lloyd), Wally (Brenda), Robby (Mandy), Shawna (Steve), Sandra (Mitchell), Mandy, Paula (Chad), Dianna (Jamie), Zachary, Erica, Laura, Lisa, Rodney and Kayla; great grandchildren: Nathan, Kaitlyn, Holly, Noah, Rachel, Braydon, Sarah, Cassy, Hannah, Daniel and Jayde; special card buddy Elvie Park; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents John and Dora Organ, daughters Marie and Arlene, son Gary, sister Beatrice, brother Bryant, brothers-in-law Peter Davidson and Albert Samson. Friends may visit The Epiphany Anglican Church, McIvers, on Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 24 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or a donation may be made to the Epiphany Anglican Church.
