St. John’s. Passed peacefully away after a long illness on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, age 81 years. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Catherine Murphy, in-laws, Edward Murray and Violet Murray, his brothers, William, Edward, Raymond, Daniel (Geraldine), and his sister, Bess (Patrick) Rilley. His brothers-in-law, Carl Slaunwhite, Ziggy Ahrens, Michael Murray and Fred White and his son-in-law, Robert Stamp. Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 58 years of marriage, Margaret (Murray), his sons, Michael (Linda), Thomas Jr. (Helen), Donald. His daughters, Shirley Hayes (Richard), Suzanne and Margaret (Corey). Grandchildren: Jason Murphy (April), Victoria Hayes (Jon), Michael Murphy Jr. (Allison), Richard Hayes Jr., Paul Murphy (Andrea), Ashley Gomez (Alex), Deborah Cranford (Stephen), Stephanie Murphy (Scott), Roberta Stamp (Justin), Sara Murphy and a large number of great-grandchildren. His brother Jack (Bet), His sisters, Jessie McIssaac (Douglas), Loretta Slaunwhite, Rose Ahrens, sisters-in-law, Ann Murphy and Shirley Murphy. His in-laws, Madonna Dyer (Patrick), Eileen Smith (Steve), Kathleen Yetman (James), Patricia Wheeler (Leonard), Madeline White, Edward Murray (Dolly) and Patrick Murray. Special friend, Alex Symonds.
