CRAWFORD, MARION EDITH - Marion Edith Crawford passed away peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Friday, June 22nd, 2012 at the age of 84. She was a resident at the Mill Cove Nursing Home. She will be sadly missed by her daughters; Linda (Terry) Ward of Gaspereau Forks and Brenda (Wayne) LeBlanc of Chipman; sons, Richard (Florence) of Chipman, Allen (Karen) of Waasis, and Peter (Jennifer) of Fredericton; brother, Everett Barton of Lincoln. Marion has seven grand children; Trevor, Shaun, Scott, Natasha, Katelyn, Bradley and Matthew; four great-grandchildren, Austin, Aidan, Chloe, and Alicia. Also survived by sister-in-laws, Evelyn Barton of Mill Cove and Betty Shorrock of Ontario; several nieces and nephews. Marion was predeceased by her husband Ernest Crawford in 1990; parents, Theodore and Lucy (Barton); brothers, John, Roger, Bruce and Murray; sisters, Gladys Lewis and Marjorie Hovey; mother-in-law Velma (Ralph) Crawford.
Resting at Chipman Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, where the family will receive visitors on Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Christian Life Centre on Sunday, June 24th, 2012 at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Mill Cove Nursing Home, Parkinson Society or the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
