FADER, Margaret Laurena, 94, of Garlands Crossing, Hants County, passed away peacefully Friday, June 22, 2012, at home,. Born on May 24, 1918, in Garlands Crossing, Hants County, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Maryann (Caldwell) Ettinger. Maggie is survived by her children, Rae (Louis) Doucette, Hantsport; Mary Anne (Jack) Morine, Hantsport; Lillian Fader, Kentville; Geraldine Fader, Garlands Crossing; Dorothy (Ron) Clarke, New Minas; Patricia (Scotty) Guild, Grand Pre`; Christine Newcombe, Falmouth; William (Susan) Fader, Merritt, BC; James (Heather) Fader, Merritt, BC. She will always be remembered by her 25 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; brother, Joe Ettinger, Currys Corner. Besides her parents, Ralph and Maryann (Caldwell) Ettinger; she was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Raymond William Fader; a daughter, Sandra Mahaney; grandson, Wayne Mahaney; son-in-law, Wayne Newcombe. There was no visitation by request. A graveside service was 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at the Ste. Croix Cemetery, St. Croix, Hants County. The Rev. E. E. Hill officiated.
