It is with great sadness that the family of the late Regina Blanchard announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the age of 87 years. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Ron of 66 years and two children that she raised, Alma Taylor of Ottawa and Michael Blanchard (Trudy McLean) of Barachois Brook, two brothers: Raymond (Jen) White of Badger, Bill Madore of Corner Brook, three sisters: Thelma (Donald) LeCoure of Shallop Cove, Emily Hepburn of London, Ontario, Stella (Lloyd) Bravo of St. Hubert, Quebec, 4 grandchildren: Melanie Taylor of Ottawa, Shawn Taylor of Ottawa, Cody Blanchard of Barachois Brook, Morgan Blanchard of Barachois Brook, 1 great-grandson, Nathan Taylor of Ottawa and sisters-in-law, Eileen White of St. George’s, Muriel White of New Brunswick and very special friends, Arlene Blanchard, Sharron Rose and a large circle of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Nathaniel White and Stella Bennett, sisters, Gladys (Stanley) Rose, Edith White, Alma White, Ellie White, brothers, Walter White, Kevin White, brother-in-law, Ed Hepburn. Friends may call at St. Joseph’s Parish in St. George’s on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 28th at 2: 00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Parish, St. George’s with Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Shallop Cove.
