CULP, ETHEL RUTH - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ethel Ruth Culp of Norman, Oklahoma at Windsor Court on June 25, 2012. Born in Wilburton, Oklahoma on November 16, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Blackshear Hamilton and Ethel Marie Locke. Ruth is survived by her sons, Richard of Norman, Oklahoma, and Joseph of Fredericton; daughters-in-law Liz and Linda; four grandchildren, Danielle Blackmore, Diana and Caroline Culp, and Jeffrey Roberts. In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her husband Joe, her daughter Susan, brothers Al and Don, and her granddaughter Kendall Roberts.
There will be no visitation at Ruth’s request. A memorial service will be held at the First Methodist Church in Ardmore, Oklahoma at 2 pm on Monday, July 2nd, 2012 with interment at the Rosehill Cemetery in Ardmore.
