Clovis Brun

BRUN, CLOVIS - Clovis Brun, 81 husband of Victorine (Vautour) Brun of Cap-Pelé passed away peacefully on Monday, June 25, 2012 at his residence with his family by his side. Born November 10, 1930 in Cap- Pelé he was the son of the late Robert and Hélèna (Richard) Brun. Before his retirement, Clovis worked as a crane operator for CNR. He enjoyed playing pool, cribbage, and darts, was an avid Montréal Canadiens hockey fan, was a member of the Knights of Columbus # 9178 and the Club d’Age d’Or both of Cap-Pelé. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 53 years Victorine; four daughters: Marie Thibodeau (Robert) of Grand-Barachois, Rose Brun (Bernie Richard) of Petit-Cap, Jeanne Landers (Anthony) of Truro and Diane Fougère (Jeff Doiron) of Cap-Pelé; two sons: Danny (Giselle) of Bas-Cap-Pelé and Roger (Gail) of Cap-Pelé; five sisters: Elise Brine (late Roy) of Cap-Pelé, Edna Brine (late Lester) of Portage, Minnie Jacob (Roméo) and Laura Jacob (late Ronald) both of Petit-Cap and Zella Melanson (late Rhéal) of Moncton; 15 grandchildren: Bobby, Amy, Ricky, Shawn, Travis, Vanessa, Mark, Dani, Jesse, Brandon, Justin, Isabelle, Justin, Amber and Jessica ; one great grandchild, Keisha; former son in-law, Mathieu Fougère; and by several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by an infant son, Robert; two sisters: Anita and Anna and a brother, Donat.
By request there will be no visitation. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Ste. Thérèse d’Avila R.C. Church, Cap-Pelé on Thursday, June 28 at 3 p.m. Interment will be in the Frenette Columbarium. In his memory donations may be made to the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Foundation (Oncology) would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Frenette Funeral Home 396 Main Street, Shediac Ltd. (532-3297)
