September 17, 1953 – June 26, 2012. On Tuesday morning Ada Reid left her earthly home and entered into her Heavenly Home to be with the love of her life, her beloved husband, best friend and soul mate, Gower. Ada Reid of Dildo passed away on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at the Carbonear General Hospital after a short but courageous battle with cancer in the presence of her loving family at the age of 58 years. Predeceased by her beloved husband Gower (September 29, 2006). Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life with thanksgiving are her three children: daughter Michelle and two sons: Michael (Tracey), Matthew (Alicia); four precious grandchildren whom she adored: Brady and Brooke Reid, Brody Flynn and Ryder Reid. She is also lovingly remembered by her loving mother Louise Garland; six sisters: Patsy, Ruby, Violet, Judy, Alma, Lorraine; four brothers: Lloyd, Bill, Wilf, Carl and their families; three sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Warren’s Funeral Home, Dildo on Wednesday, June 27th 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral. The funeral service will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel TBS Corps on Thursday June 28, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
