Bronson Claude Williams
Passed away peacefully at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility, Bronson Williams, age 83, surrounded by his loving family after a brave battle with Parkinsons. Born and raised in Cards Harbour, Notre Dame Bay, he moved to Deer Lake in 1957 with his wife Beryl (nee Roberts), where they spent the next 55 years and raised their nine children. Pre-deceased by his parents D.J and Annie Belle Williams, brother Cyril and son Lloyd. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Beryl, children: Yvonne (Bruce), Nina Hall, Ted (Sheila), Vaden (Joyce), Sharon (Calvin), Judy (John), Elizabeth (Paul), Dana (Helena), Peter (Irene), siblings: Ethel Crews, Gertie (Roger), Howard (Jean), Violet (Cecil), Bruce (Maisie), Christine (Clarence), Peggy (Winston) and sister-in-law Lulu. Pop was a devoted and loving grandfather to 17 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Friends and family will be received at Fillatres Funeral Home on Friday, June 29th at 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from Emmanuel Pentecostal Church Bennett’s Avenue from where the funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 1st 2012 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Peter Grimes officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Wight’s Road, Deer Lake. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Gideon’s International Fund.
