PATTERSON, Jane Ann – 75, Truro, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday morning, June 28, 2012, at Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born August 11, 1936, in Isle of Man, England, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levison-Gower. Jane was an avid dart player and was a member of Hubtown Dart League and also played darts at Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 26, Truro. She enjoyed many victories while playing and had numerous trophies to her credit. She also enjoyed knitting. Jane is survived by her children, Peter Holt, British Columbia; Al Sully, Italy (Serving with Canadian Armed Forces); Don Sully, Truro; Patricia “Trish” Patterson, British Columbia; Patrick Patterson, Hamilton, Ontario; grandchildren, Tasha, Savannah, Teghann, Alexandra, Chelsea, Brandon, Vanessa, Marissa, DJ, Eddie, Amanda, Garik, Keith; great grandchildren, Sienna, Ava, Colby, Lilly. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her common-law spouse, Hughie Hutchinson. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Honouring Jane’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. If so desired, donations in Jane’s memory to Canadian Cancer Society or Lung Association of Nova Scotia are welcomed.
