Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Monday, July 2, 2012, Cal Gilbert of Victoria, age 83 years. Predeceased by parents Walter and Stella Gilbert; brothers: Freeman and Neil; sisters: Mae, Eileen and Mildred. Leaving to mourn, wife Joan; one daughter Krista Gilbert (Geoffrey Whalen), St. John’s; one son Cally (Tina), Highlevel, AB; two step-grandchildren: Whitney and Lexie; one brother Murley (Carrie), Fall River, NS; sister-in-law Gwen Gilbert, Swift Current; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
