MERCER, JOHN THOMAS - The death of John Thomas Mercer, age 62, occurred at the Sussex Health Centre, Thursday, July 5, 2012. He was born in Saint John, NB, on February 18, 1950, the son of the late Thomas and Hazel (Forsythe) Mercer. John is survived by his son Nick Mercer of Charlottetown, PE; daughter Laura Mercer of Charlottetown, PE; sisters Eileen and Doug Nichols, Nettia and Lloyd Jones, Lois and Gary McCrea, Lauretta and Charles Jennings, Eva and Anthony Guimond; Audrey and Bill St. Amande; brothers Donald and Janet Mercer, Clinton and Barb Mercer, and Barry Mercer; and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his sisters Isabell and Clara; brothers Henry, Everett and Aubrey.
He is resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visiting and service times to be announced.
