Alphée "Cliff" Landry
LANDRY, ALPHÉE "CLIFF" - Alphée “Cliff” Landry, 95, of Lockhart Avenue, Moncton, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 following a lengthy illness. Born July 30, 1916 in College Bridge, NB, he was the son of the late Alphée and Louise (LeBlanc) Landry. Alphée was a retired Carmen with CN. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Délima (née LeBlanc) Landry; two daughters: Joanne Scallion and Linda Holmans (Wayne) both of Moncton; three grandchildren: Marc, Christine, and April; one great-grandchild, Trace; many nieces and nephews. He was the last survivor of his immediate family. He is predeceased by his brothers: René, Emery, André, Alyre; two sisters: Beatrice and Léa; also a grandson, Kevin.
The funeral service will be celebrated at Frenette Funeral Home Chapel, 88 Church Street, Moncton (858-1900) on Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 10:30 am, Father Yvon Cormier officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment in St-Thomas Cemetery, Memramcook. In memory of Alphée, a contribution to the Dr. Georges-L.
