LEBLANC, LORRAINE - Lorraine LeBlanc of Domaine de la Vallée, Memramcook passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the age of 91. Born on October 21, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Herve LeBlanc and the late Agathe Gaudet. She worked at McNeil Engineering in Waltham until her retirement. Lorraine was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Memramcook Legion #89 and Golden Age Club of Memramcook. She is survived by her two daughters, Rachel LeBlanc of Moncton and Janice (Armand) LeBlanc of Old Shediac Road; three sons, Charles-Edouard (Suzie Lavigne) of Montreal, Rheal (Janet) of Comox, BC and Francis (Charline) of Memramcook East; 12 grandchildren: Nicole, Christian, Chantal, Cail, Jessica, Lianne, Mandy, Vanessa, Ricky, Emma, Robert and Brian; six great-grandchildren: Amber, Benoît, Phillip, Robert Jr, Edgar and Camyille; one daughter-in-law, Therese; three sisters, Soeur Bernadette LeBlanc n.d.s.c of Moncton, Ella (Fidele) Gautreau of Pre-D’en-Haut and Claudette (Paul-Eugene) LeBlanc of Old Shediac Road; three brothers, Clarence (Aurore) of Moncton, Joseph-Henri (Juliette) of Dieppe and Adrien (Claudette) of Little Dover Road; four sisters-in-law, Jeannine, Eugenie, Bernadette and Jeanne; one brother-in-law, Joseph and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Oswald (1980); four sisters, Juliette, Colombe, Bernise and Anne-Marie and by three brothers, Thomas, Camille and Leonard.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 rte La Vallée on Tuesday, July 17 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday July 18 from 1:00 to 2:30 pm. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook Church in St-Joseph on Wednesday, July 18 at 3:00 pm. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
