Stanley Morris

Stanley William Morris Born on September 20, 1955 passed away on July 13, 2012 in Calgary, Alberta.
Stanley was predeceased by his father, Robert Arthur Morris.
He is survived by his mother, Phyllis J. Pellerin (St. Peter) (Morris) and stepfather, Wilfred R. Pellerin.
Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Jane Landry (Barb Weatherbee), Diana Morris, Donna Morris, Margaret Rose (David) Alder, Robert Morris, and half brother, Paul Pellerin, as well as several nieces, nephews, and step brothers and sisters.
Stanley loved the wilderness and was an avid hunter, fisherman and camper.
He enjoyed this until he took ill last winter with pneumonia and it got the best of him. Stanley was employed by the Canadian Navy for over twenty years as a ware house supervisor.
One of his first jobs as a teenager was with Elliott’s Amusement for several summers, where he even got to see Newfoundland.
Even though he was so far away he always thought of his mom and siblings and came home for a visit as often as he was able.
Cremation and funeral service is taking place in Calgary. The cremated remains then will be transferred back home to Amherst for a graveside service for his family and friends. The date and time will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Stanley’s memory can be made to the charity of your choice through Campbell’s Funeral Home, Amherst (667-9906).
