RAMSAY, DAVID A. - In Loving Memory of David A. Ramsay, 69 years, Thursday, July 19th, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of Pauline (Poirier) Ramsay. Loving father of Callie Ramsay (husband Tony Park). Cherished son of Archie and Helen (Blackwood) Ramsay predeceased. Loving brother of Carolyn Colpits (husband Darrell). Special brother in law of Janie Brisson (husband Dale). Dear uncle of Darren (Cheryl), Bradley (Erika), Craig (Alison), Lori (Carson). David moved to Sudbury in the early sixties and married Pauline (Poirier) in 1968 at St. Anthony's Church. David was a devout Roman Catholic who attended St. Anthony's Church where he actively participated in the parish ministries and projects. He had been a cub/scout leader at the church. He had served on the parish council, usher, and choir. David was a well-respected and loved Gatchell resident who helped many worthy causes including helping his wife with the breakfast programs at the school, volunteering with the Gatchell Fire Department and organizing fundraising bingos. He will be remembered as a very kind and generous man who lived the lessons of Jesus as a good Samaritan and shepherd to all he met. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him.
