It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bryant Caines announce his passing surrounded by his family on Friday, July 27, 2012 at his family residence in his 95th year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 69 years Elizabeth. His children Clarence (Christine), Olive (Everett) Porter, Shirley (Donald) Cross, Milton (Irma), Edgar, Gary (Donna), Terry (Christine) and Myra (William) Curtis. 25 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; one brother John (Alberta). Also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents John & Alice Caines, grandsons: Dwayne Cross & Justin Caines, sisters: Edna & Annie and daughter-in-law Dorothy. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake today, Saturday from 7-9 p.m. & Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Church with Majors Wayne & Betty Ann Pike officiating.
