With heavy hearts the Dawe family would like to announce the passing of Robert Patrick Dawe of Seal Cove at the age of 71. Pre-deceased by parents Mary (Lottie) and Robert Dawe, infant daughter Michelle. Left with fond and loving memories are son Shawn, common-law spouse Glenys, stepdaughter Bonnie Belec (Terry), stepsons Jason (Ivy) and Nick, grandchildren Lindsay, Liam and Emma. Sisters Betty Petten (Dave), Jessie Ryan (John), Mary Wallace (Ben), Elaine, Madonna. Brothers David (Muriel), Charlie (Connie), Gerard. Special friends Melvin Gill, Len and Maxine Lear, Betty Smith, Leo Adams and Linda Butler. Also numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and a large circle of friends. The family would also like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at the cardiac care unit at the Health Sciences Centre for their compassion. The family will be receiving visitors at Hickey’s Funeral home in Kelligrews from
6-9 p.m. on Monday July 30. Memorial mass will take place 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edwards Church in Kelligrews. Inurnment will follow at St. Edwards cemetery. There will be a social for Robert at St. Edwards parish immediately after.
