Barrett, Gordon Elwin – 68, Truro passed away July 26, 2012 in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro, Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Elwin and Jennetta (Pelton) Barrett. He worked for Purolator for 31 years and returned to Truro until retirement. He was a devoted Toronto Maple Leaf fan. He is survived by sister, Vennessa (Lloyd) MacAloney, Parrsboro; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Joan; brothers, Donnie, George and Billie. Visitation will be held today, July 30 from 7-9 pm with prayers at 8 pm, both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro; funeral mass on Tuesday, July 31 at 11:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 669 Prince Street, Truro with Father Francesco Pirisi officiating.
