Kenneth William Byrne
Peacefully at the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Sunday, July 29, 2012, Kenneth Byrne of Iona, passed away at the age of 86 years. Dear father of Michael (Debbie); Bobby, Patrick (Margaretha), Mark (Leona), Gary (Margaret), Tommy (Jackie) and Wade (Shannon). Lovingly remembered by 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, special family friend, Line Bertand, and son-in-law, Glen Hawkins. Dear brother of Doreen Daly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his wife, Lillian (Connolly), son Karl, daughter, Helen Hawkins, daughter-in-law Georgina, brother, John (Joan), sister, Joan (Jim) Rooney, and brother-in-law, Elmo Daly. Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home until Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., then to St. Michael's Church, Iona for funeral mass at 10 a.m.
Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
